Seconde Vape
Launched in 2022, Seconde Vape was a one-of-a-kind initiative, making Kumulus Vape the first industry player to introduce a C2C (consumer-to-consumer) platform dedicated to vaping in Europe. Designed as a space for resale and exchange between individuals, Seconde Vape aimed to promote more responsible consumption by giving unused equipment a second life.
Over more than two years, the platform built a dynamic and engaged community, gathering nearly 27,000 membersand facilitating 15,000 transactions. This success demonstrated a genuine enthusiasm for circularity and waste reduction within the vaping industry. While never intended as a for-profit venture, Seconde Vape helped raise awareness about more sustainable and responsible practices, aligning with today’s environmental concerns.
Despite its impressive results, the project closed in December 2024 due to the bankruptcy of its payment escrow provider. However, Seconde Vape’s legacy endures, having laid the groundwork for broader discussions on the industry’s environmental impact and potential solutions for a more sustainable future.
