A Day to Shine a Light on a Rare Disease
Every year on September 18, the world marks Pitt-Hopkins Syndrome Awareness Day. This rare genetic disorder leads to developmental challenges, often accompanied by the absence of speech, motor difficulties, and, in some cases, respiratory issues. Still largely unknown to the general public, it is a daily reality for families who continue to call for greater visibility, inclusion, and tangible support.
A Renewed Commitment to Solidarity
For the second year running, Kumulus Vape is actively supporting this awareness initiative.
👉 On September 18, 2025, all profits generated on kumulusvape.fr will be donated to a dedicated nonprofit: Agir Ensemble Contre l’IMC.
This decision is deliberate. Our aim is for the initiative to have a concrete impact and to help improve the daily lives of the families concerned.
A Concrete Project: Skiing for All
This year, the funds raised will finance the project “Familles en Montagne: Skiing for All”, led by the association.
📍 In January 2026, seven families raising a child with motor disabilities will enjoy a week-long stay in Les Angles (Pyrénées-Orientales). The program will feature memorable activities designed for both children and parents. Young participants will experience the thrill of skiing thanks to GoToSki, an innovative device that enables them to ski standing up, supported by specially trained adapted-sport students. They will also take part in balneotherapy sessions—essential for muscle relaxation and spasticity relief—providing comfort and mobility in a soothing environment.
While the children explore these activities, their parents will benefit from genuine moments of respite, with access to massages and wellness facilities to recharge and breathe. Siblings will not be forgotten either: inclusive activities will allow them to share in the experience and enjoy rich, balanced, and fully collective family moments.
With a projected budget of €9,889, the initiative will minimize financial contributions from families, who often face a heavy burden due to their child’s disability.
A Clear CSR Commitment
At Kumulus Vape, we believe corporate responsibility extends far beyond business operations. Our customers, partners, and employees all play a role in this project: every order placed on September 18 will directly fund this family trip.
This initiative reflects our commitment to inclusion, to supporting tangible projects, and to giving a deeper, socially conscious dimension to our activities.
Giving the Floor to Rémi Baert, President of Kumulus Vape
“Social responsibility is part of Kumulus Vape’s DNA. Beyond our core mission of providing alternatives to smoking, we have a duty to support causes that truly matter. By joining World Pitt-Hopkins Syndrome Awareness Day, we are helping to inform, raise awareness, and above all, offer moments of respite and joy to families in need. I am convinced that a company’s performance is also measured by its ability to create connection and positive impact.”
